The New Heart of Kingston

Come to the existing Kingston Community Center next week for one of two 90-minute sessions that will help you figure out how you could become an MPD commissioner (what in the world will those five people be doing when they’re elected?) and/or how you might possibly contribute to the MPD campaign to help the August 17, 2010 ballot measure be successful.

These two meetings will be
Monday May 17, 1-2:30 PM, and
Tuesday May 18, 7-8:30 PM

Well! This is a great day for the Kingston Village Green and the new community center. A small group is off to Everett to present our project to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County in hopes that they will decide to take first steps toward a capital campaign for the Kingston club at the Village Green. We know they intend to do this, but we hope they decide to do it now rather than later. Stay tuned!
